A Boutique Wedding in the Noosa Hinterland:

Keira and Jake were married at Palm Creek Estate, a boutique venue set within the Noosa Hinterland. Known for its open acreage, natural light, and quiet sense of seclusion, Palm Creek Estate offered a grounded backdrop for a wedding that prioritised a fly-on-the-wall documentation approach. The location allowed the day to unfold without interruption, with space to move between moments naturally, an ideal environment for a hybrid approach to photography and film.

Hinterland Calm with Coastal Convenience:

Palm Creek Estate is a boutique estate nestled on roughly 85 acres in the Noosa Hinterland, just minutes from Beach’s and Noosa Heads. The grounds combine expansive lawns, tranquil ponds and palm-lined creeks, offering multiple ceremony and reception spaces that overlook the valley. Facilities include a full‑service bar, federation‑style amenities, and versatile indoor–outdoor areas that can accommodate seated or cocktail‑style events for small to larger weddings, all while maintaining a refined yet relaxed rural atmosphere. The estate is conveniently located within easy access to Peregian Beach, Coolum Beach and Sunshine Coast Airport, blending hinterland calm with coastal proximity.

Choosing an Intimate, Documentary Approach:

Keira and Jake selected our ‘Intimate photography’ and ‘Content Creation Package,’ designed for couples wanting focused photographic coverage alongside extended documentary-style capture. This approach suited the pace of the day, allowing key moments to be photographed with intention while the wider timeline was documented in a more observational, continuous way.

The Intimate Photo Collection:

The Intimate Photo Collection included one photographer, two hours of coverage across the allocated timeframe, and a high-resolution gallery. For Keira and Jake, this coverage was initially dedicated to their ceremony and couple portraits. On the day, they requested an additional two hours of photography, which was able to be accommodated, allowing for extended coverage beyond the original timeframe. This resulted in a concise yet complete photographic record of the formal elements, with continued attention to the couple and their friends and family.

Content & Camcorder Coverage:

Alongside photography, the couple chose the Content & Camcorder Collection, providing eight hours of coverage across the day. Captured on a iPhone alongside a camcorder, this collection focused on immediacy, continuity and authenticity. On the day the iPhone footage/photos were delivered via AirDrop, giving the couple access to their content immediately.

A Full-Length Retro Documentary:

While our Photographer focused on the ceremony and the couple, the retro documentary captured the day in a home-video style. Filmed across eight hours, the footage followed the wider timeline, including morning preparations, candid exchanges, and video notes from friends and family. This approach preserved informal interactions and the natural rhythm of the day as it unfolded in the lush Noosa Hinterland.

Keira and Jake’s wedding at Palm Creek Estate reflected a growing preference for intentional coverage that balances photography with long-form documentation.
